Talking Heads est un groupe américain de rock, plus particulièrement de post-punk, ayant existé entre 1974 et 1991 et composé de David Byrne, Chris Frantz, Tina Weymouth et Jerry Harrison. Ils jouaient dans les clubs de New York City, comme le CBGB’s. Le groupe signe en 1977 son premier album, Talking Heads 77. Sur l'album suivant, More Songs About Buildings And Food, Talking Heads s'associe au producteur Brian Eno. L'album allie instruments acoustiques et électroniques.
