Mazzy Star est un groupe de musique américain formé au début des années 1990. Il est principalement composé de Hope Sandoval (chanteuse) et David Roback (guitariste).le groupe s'est séparé après la sortie de l'album Among My Swan.Le groupe cherche notamment ses inspirations dans The Velvet Underground ou The Jesus and Mary Chain, il a aussi collaboré avec le groupe Chemical Brothers et a fait une reprise de Wild Horses des Rolling Stones.
