King Crimson est un groupe de rock britannique de style progressif, fondé en 1969 par Robert Fripp au Royaume-Uni. Les membres de King Crimson ont souvent changé au long de l'histoire du groupe, Robert Fripp restant le seul membre permanent, bien qu'il ait déclaré ne pas être forcément le chef du groupe. Pour lui, King Crimson est « une manière de faire les choses » et la constance musicale qui a persisté à travers l'histoire du groupe, malgré le changement continuel de membres, reflète ce point de vue.
