Steven Paul Smith (6 août 1969 - 21 octobre 2003), plus connu sous le nom de Elliott Smith, est un auteur-compositeur-interprète américain. Après avoir joué dans le groupe Heatmiser pendant plusieurs années, il entama une carrière solo en 1994. Il fut révélé au grand public grâce à sa chanson Miss Misery écrite pour le film Good Will Hunting, et nommée en 1998 aux Oscars dans la catégorie « Meilleure chanson originale ». Elliott
